The Franklin Dads Club (FDC) is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)3 charitable organization (incorporated in 2014).

Our mission is to enrich and contribute to our children’s school experience through active and direct participation by the Franklin dads, partnering and working very closely with the PTA, and organizing fun, community building events that engage our Franklin Elementary school community.

As we continue to emerge from the pandemic, we are looking forward to resuming some of our traditional events throughout the year. In the past, some of the key events that the FDC has organized included:

  • Franklin Beautification Day
  • Family Bowling
  • Pizza and Movie Nights
  • Bingo Night
  • Exclusive movie premieres
  • Poker tournaments
  • Funding key projects and initiatives that directly benefit all the children at Franklin

The FDC normally holds a monthly social at The American Bull (located in Burlingame Plaza) on the second Wednesday of the month (8:30pm) during the school year. We invite all dads to join, get to know each other, and help plan and put on the events. We always need more volunteers to help make these events happen.
